I can remember when a buddy of mine was a sports agent 25 years ago. He would call me and tell me he was out all night drinking and banging whores with some extremely famous NFL players. However, when kickoff came, no matter how fucked up these guys were and how little sleep they got, it never seemed to matter. They played great and the fact that they were out all night had no effect on them or the outcome of the game.
